Tesla surprised the world when it unveiled its revolutionary pickup truck earlier this week. The Tesla Cybertruck is unrealistically out of this world with its never-before-seen angular design and groundbreaking specs. But, it appears that the new electric pickup truck from Tesla may soon find its way to a much-awaited game, "Cyberpunk 2077," if the recent speculations are right.
When the Tesla Cybertruck was launched, it earned mixed reactions, and it was so popular that the Internet makes a lot of memes out of it. Because of the resemblance of the pickup's name to the upcoming game "Cyberpunk 2077," some fans took advantage of the opportunity to compare the electric truck to Cyberpunk aesthetics. But, it is not just a simple comparison since even the official Twitter page of the upcoming game "Cyberpunk 2077" joined in on the fun.
In response to Tesla CEO Elon Musk's tweet about the latest pickup truck, "Cyberpunk 2077," said that the two companies had a deal. The Tesla CEO responded that he would see them in 2077. Gamerant thinks that there are some clear implications in the exchange of tweets. At face value, it simply that "Cyberpunk 2077" is poking some fun at Elon Musk, the site points out.
However, the site also toys with the idea that the tweets could be some sort of tease that there was some kind of understanding or deal between Tesla and CD Projekt Red, where the newly unveiled Tesla Cybertruck would appear in "Cyberpunk 2077." While this idea is not entirely impossible, it is hard to conclude at this point. Still, it is also something that will definitely interest fans of the upcoming title.

According to the site, Elon Musk has always been upfront about his experience with games in the past. Additionally, the Flamethrower in "Borderlands 3" was inspired by the Tesla CEO. Moreover, introducing Tesla Cybertruck into "Cyberpunk 2077" rings a bell and is something that both companies could cook up, the site explains.
Featuring the Tesla Cybertruck into "Cyberpunk 2077" is also some kind of advertising activity considering that the truck will start its production and 2021 while the game will be released in 2020. We have learned from previous reveals that vehicles in "Cyberpunk 2077" can be called to the player, similar to Roach in "The Witcher 3," giving players a futuristic feel. This is not too far off with Tesla Cybertruck, which features a self-driving option.
"Cyberpunk 2077" will release on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on Apr. 16, 2020.
