Ahead of its anticipated release, we have been hearing a lot about the next flagship smartphone from Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy S11. Aside from the regular stream of rumors and speculations, the highly awaited device does not run out of leaks. The latest comes from XDA Developers, which has reportedly uncovered specs of the Samsung Galaxy S11.

XDA Developers recently made a teardown on the Samsung Camera app in One UI 2.0 beta 4, which presumably belongs to Samsung Galaxy S11. The team uncovered a couple of major features with reference to 108 MP camera and 8K video recording. The 8K video entails a camera sensor with a resolution of 33MP or higher, reveals XDA Developer.

In other words, the device, presumably the Samsung Galaxy S11, will not feature a 12 MP main sensor if Samsung will equip it with an 8K video recording feature unless the Seoul-based tech giant will offer the 8K recording through a secondary camera. References to the 108 MP camera add credence to earlier speculations that the Galaxy S11 series will offer this powerful camera sensor. In addition to the resolvable detail in broad daylight, the 108 MP camera sensor is capable of spitting 27 MP binned shots in low light.

Several intriguing camera options were also uncovered by XDA Developers during its latest app teardown. This includes the Director's View mode that enables users to focus on a subject and 'select who's in the close-up.' This appears like Samsung Galaxy S11 will allow users to record video from various lenses with a string that prompts users to tap on thumbnails and switch between lenses.

Another feature uncovered, which could make its way in Samsung Galaxy S11 is the Night Hyperlapse mode. It comes with a string that the device must be maintained still in this particular mode. This feature could be Samsung's way of providing better results with reduced noise as opposed to the usual hyperlapse mode at night time.

The third feature uncovered in the Samsung camera app is called Single Take Photo. There are a couple of other features that Galaxy S11 users might soon enjoy in the device. These are the Custom Filters and Vertical Panoramas.

The Custom Filters feature will enable users to save a picture from the gallery as a filter for future photos. Meanwhile, the Vertical Panorama feature help users take images of tall subjects like skyscrapers. It is worth noting that these discoveries do not in any way indicate that it belongs to the Samsung Galaxy S11 series. So, we suggest taking these details with a considerable amount of salt.
