The new Apple AirPods Pro is well-received by consumers because of its superior audio quality and its cool features that further offer unparalleled user experience. Despite its imperfections like the inability to be repaired, it got positive feedback from users. Recently, Consumer Reports conducted its own AirPods Pro review and despite its praises to Apple's new product, it rates the earbuds as not the best for customers.

In its review of Apple AirPods Pro, Consumer Reports notes that the improvements in AirPods Pro are significant both in terms of design and sound quality. The American non-profit organization praises the new Apple ear buds in terms of providing quality sound. However, just like all other Bluetooth headphones, the new set of ear buds from Apple might not satisfy the most critical audiophiles, adds Consumer Reports.

It also describes Apple AirPods Pro as a serious contender for those looking for a pair of truly wireless earphones with its significant sound improvement and features that consumers really love. Additionally, it praises the AirPods Pro for its noise-canceling feature that blocks out ambient noise for the enjoyable listening experience. Moreover, the review notes that although the Cupertino-based tech giant did not create the Transparency feature first, it works well with the AirPods Pro particularly when users are switching between noise cancellation and Transparency mode.

In terms of battery life, Consumer Reports notes that it is somewhat similar to the AirPods but with more features for the same level of battery endurance. The non-profit organization only gives the Apple AirPods Pro a review score of 75. This places Apple's wireless ear buds higher than Amazon Echo Buds with 65 points and lower than Samsung Galaxy Buds that surprisingly has no noise cancelation feature.

"The Echo Buds, Amazon's new noise-canceling true wireless headphones, didn't score quite as well in our tests, but they're solid performers and far cheaper at $130. And while the AirPods Pro sound far better than Apple's earlier models, they still don't meet the audio quality of our top pick for true wireless sound, the Samsung Galaxy Buds, which also sell for around $130. (They aren't noise-canceling.)"

Despite the review given by Consumer Reports, the majority of consumers these days would still opt for Apple AirPods Pro when they are looking for a pair of wireless ear buds.
