Former Tottenham Hotspur coach Mauricio Pochettino wants Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's job at Manchester United job, but he would also accept a move to Arsenal if opportunity permits, Metro reports. Last year, the Argentine coach was reportedly enchanted to move to the Old Trafford but with Unai Emery now gone at Arsenal, Pochettino is not closing his doors. Pochettino was sacked by the Spurs a few weeks ago and is now ready to bounce back into action.

Manchester United is one of the biggest football clubs in world football, and a year ago, Mauricio Pochettino was linked to replace Red Devils former coach Jose Mourinho. The Portuguese coach, who is now the head coach of Tottenham Hotspur, was sacked by Ed Woodward, and Pochettino was among the names that popped up. But Mourinho's post at Arsenal was given to Norwegian coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Since then, reports claimed that Mauricio Pochettino was charmed to manage Manchester United. But, since Solskjaer assumed his post at the Old Trafford, the Red Devils only won four Premier League matches out of the 14 they have played. After Pochettino was sacked at Tottenham, the pressure for the Norwegian coach increased.

Mauricio Pochettino is waiting to replace Solskjaer in the event that Ed Woodward and others decide to let go of the Manchester United legend, reports Manchester Evening News. Pochettino is also open to a move to the Emirates despite links to Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs chairman Daniel Levy probably knew where Pochettino is going after his reign at Tottenham and the clause he inserted on Pochettino's exit contract would likely frustrate clubs in the Premier League wishing to hire the Argentine as their next coach.

Arsenal recently sacked Unai Emery because of poor team performance. His post was temporarily given to Freddie Ljungberg, who currently served as the club's interim coach. Rumors have it that the position that Emery left will likely be given to an outsider, and Mauricio Pochettino is one of the names that pop up.

In addition to Manchester United and Arsenal, Pochettino is reportedly being eyed by Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. Metro recently reports that Pochettino said he is open to listening to projects that are presented to him. He intends to redirect in Europe. At his age, Pochettino believes that one does not need more time to recover. There are a lot of teams and attractive projects that I could take on, the former Tottenham Hotspur coach said.
