Earlier, we reported that multiple users of Apple 16-inch MacBook Pro were complaining of suffering from several audio and screen ghosting issues. Users complained about hearing a popping or clicking sound coming from the audio system of the premium laptop while others are complaining of screen ghosting. A new report claims that Apple is releasing a software fix to these issue in a future update.

The 16-inch MacBook Pro is marketed as a premium Apple laptop, and some tech enthusiasts even rate it as the best laptop Apple has ever made. It follows that users would believe that they are using the best in the industry after paying a hefty amount of cash for the product. However, the 16-inch MacBook Pro becomes a disappointment since users started experiencing these issues.

Fortunately, Apple was quick to hear out complaints and is reportedly working on a fix that will be released in the upcoming update. The report comes from a leaked memo that Macrumors was able to obtain. The memo reportedly is meant for Apple authorized Service Providers, which states the following:

If a customer hears a popping sound when playback is stopped on their 16-inch MacBook Pro. When using Final Cut Pro X, Logic Pro X, QuickTime Player, Music, Movies, or other applications to play audio, users may hear a pop come from the speakers after playback has ended. Apple is investigating the issue. A fix is planned in future software updates. Do not set up service, or replace the user's computer, as this is a software-related issue.

The leaked memo in a way confirms that Apple will roll out a software fix for the 16-inch MacBook Pro, which will arrive in a future date. Unfortunately, Apple does not state any specific date for the release of the fix, which is kind of a disappointment for the part of the users. It is worth noting that the clicking or popping noises that 16-inch MacBook Pro users hear are not related to a hardware defect, which is a good sign.

The last thing the Cupertino tech titan would want is a problem that affects the hardware, which entails more repair needed or worse, replacement of the unit. If you are an owner of the 16-inch MacBook Pro and is currently experiencing similar issues, you can be assured that Apple will release a fix soon. Considering that it is Apple, it should not take too long for the fix to arrive, and for our part, we will keep you updated on this issue.
