Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson are bringing their relationship to the next level as the "Slide Away" singer has finally reunited with her beau's mother. The couple welcomed Angie Simpson to Los Angeles, and they recently shared dinner in the upscale resto in Malibu.
A source told HollywoodLife that the dinner went well. The group enjoyed a long dinner in the private fireplace room at celeb hotspot Nobu.
"Miley was sitting with Cody's mom most of the night, she was very attentive to her," the insider revealed.
Miley and Cody along with Angie were later on spotted leaving Japanese restaurant Nobu. The Hannah Montana alum was photographed wearing a black satin top, black straight-legged trousers, and heeled boots. She accessorized her look with a designer bag and various necklaces and rings.
Miley's long sleeves top covered the tattoos on her arms but not the new ink on her right hand. Celebrity tattoo artist Daniel Winter, a.k.a. Winter Stone, shared on Instagram Miley's new tattoo that says "freedom" across her knuckles. Many think it is a major jab to ex-husband Liam Hemsworth.
Cody, on the other hand, kept things simple. He wore a black button-up shirt, a pair of jeans, boots, and a beanie for the night. The couple was also photographed getting cozy at the front seats of a car while Angie sat at the back.
Earlier this week, Mrs. Simpson took to social media and shared how she enjoyed a hike with the young couple. She posted a clip of Cody having fun swinging from a rope while his mom watched on.
Last month, Angie revealed that his son had surprised her with a plane ticket to the U.S. to spend time with him. Cody's mom is expected to spend Christmas in Nashville with the Cyrus family.
The holiday celebration of the Cyruses and Simpsons will also be a reunion between Miley and Cody's mothers. Angie and Tish Cyrus have been close friends for years.
Angie has also known Miley for years, but this is the first time that the Australian mom-of-three saw the singer again as her son's girlfriend. As for Cody in the Cyrus family, things are doing great as well.
It was earlier reported that Miley's family has fully accepted Cody in their clan. The Cyruses reportedly like Cody as he makes the "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker happy when he is around.
Cody had also spent a lot of time with Miley's family. He was with them on several important occasions such as Thanksgiving as well as the wedding of Miley's brother, Braison.
