The next flagship smartphone of Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy S11 Plus is one of the heavily leaked upcoming devices. We have seen a lot of leaked images and heard a lot of speculation surrounding the flagship smartphone of the Seoul-based tech and electronics scheduled to arrive in the first quarter of 2020. The latest is a leaked promotional image which revealed that the Galaxy S11 Plus has fewer cameras than earlier speculated.
A reliable tipster named Ice Universe earlier disclosed that the main camera of Samsung Galaxy S11 could merge nine images from its 108 MP primary sensor to make an outstanding result. Recently, the tipster is back sharing a new set of information about the upcoming flagship smartphone of the Seoul-based tech and electronics giant. An alleged promotional image of the Galaxy S11 Plus has been spotted sharing a total of three cameras on its rear, according to the tipster.
The recent details about the Galaxy S11 Plus is a bit surprising considering that the number of camera sensors is fewer than what we have seen in earlier leaks. OnLeaks recently shared the CAD renders of the Galaxy S11 Plus, which are a lot different than the image showed by Ice Universe just now. The renders revealed five camera sensors far more than the three sensors showed by Ice Universe.
Aside from the five camera sensors, there are also two tiny ones, which makes a total of seven cameras. As per the latest leak, the remaining unseen sensors in the promotional image are for capturing ultra-wide-angle and regular shots. The Periscope lens would be used for capturing zoomed images with lesser quality loss.

It is worth noting that while we have contrasting leaks about the number of camera sensors that the Samsung Galaxy S11 Plus, these are leaks. In other words, these are not official, and sometimes, these leaks are not even accurate. Because of this, we recommend taking this information with a pinch of salt and with skepticism.
At this point, we are still at odds on the number of camera sensors that Samsung will equip the Galaxy S11 Plus. Rumors have it that the Seoul-based tech giant is planning to launch the Galaxy S11 series, including the Galaxy S11 Plus, in an event in Feb. 18, 2020.
