Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is not having it. In the wake of Paul Pogba sightings, in which the star midfielder was partying, playing hoops, and walking his dog, the Red Devils boss has indicated that Pogba will not be allowed to make the switch to Real Madrid.

Pogba, who is out of action for 11 months and counting, called in sick in the weekend and Solskjaer confirmed that the Frenchman's new illness will set him back a bit. However, the supposedly injured striker turned up on social media having a grand time.

The Daily Mail reported that Pogba posted a clip showing him dancing at his brother's wedding in France. Supposedly, United gave the approval for the injured player to travel so he can attend the family gathering.

Then Pogba was also pictured walking his dog and the image appeared to suggest all is well with the World Cup winner.

There was the video too of Pogba playing basketball with Jimmy Butler and per the same report, it happened sometime in November.

All these sightings of Pogba away from the Old Trafford while supposedly on rehabilitation due to an injured ankle and collecting wages of £3.25 supposedly shrouded his commitment to United. The club still has 18 months on its existing deal with Pogba and has the option to extend for another 12 months.

However, the striker has already made clear that he is not keen on staying. Last summer, Pogba actively worked on a transfer that was to see him moving to Barcelona or Real Madrid. The supposed deals fell through but speculations are rife, Pogba is looking to force a transfer and make it happen this coming January.

His preferred destination remains Real but Barcelona and Juventus are in the cards.

United said the attempted transfer is not going to happen, insisting the club has no plans to sell Pogba, whose move from Juventus cost the Red Devils £89 million.

Solskjaer said that the discouraging indicators that Pogba has been sending out lately, he has no plan of releasing the player to any team.

"As I've said so many times, Paul's a top, top player that we want to see playing his best football at Man United. We just need to get him fit and match fit ... We're working hard to get him back but now he's ill," The Sun reported the Norwegian boss as saying.

Meanwhile, former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has advised against the plan by the Spanish giants to hire Pogba and offer Welsh superstar Gareth Bale in exchange. Calderon said the deal will prove a huge mistake for Real, Talk Sport reported.
