Paul Pogba is still not available to play for Manchester United despite reports of the midfielder jetting around and having a good time. Such display of disinterest for the Red Devils seemed to confirm Pogba's plan of leaving Old Trafford, and it might be to the benefit of the club to let him go.

Since he last appeared on the pitch for United, Pogba has been out for 11 weeks, and it sure looked like that 2019 will pass, and the striker will not return. The Frenchman, however, is not exactly inactive.

He was in France for a wedding event and even posted a video that showed him dancing, certainly having a blast. There was a sighting too of Pogba playing basketball with Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler. And one lazy day, the World Cup was seen leisurely walking his dog.

In other words, Pogba has been everywhere but on training sessions or on the pitch playing. According to The Daily Mail, "Paul Pogba has been racking up the air miles during his 11-week absence for Manchester United."

All these indicators should convince United that the supposedly hurting Pogba does not entertain the thought of coming back. The France international has already made clear he wanted out, and it will be to the benefit of United to grant that wish.

"The smart decision would be to move the Frenchman out of the club. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has stated on more than one occasion that he wants players that are ready to fight for the jersey and work as a collective unit," Liam Canning, writing for Forbes, suggested.

Earlier this week, words came out that United will not allow a trade deal that would see Pogba moving to Real Madrid or any other teams. That seemed understandable as Solskjaer remains convinced the player has the talents he requires.

However, it seemed glaring by now that Pogba is merely taking his sweet time. Per the same report from Forbes, "there is also the very real possibility of Pogba not playing for the team and also running down his contract."

As things stand now, United could be staring at a prospect of financial loss, and to avert this, the club has to make the drastic decision of opening the door for a player wanting to leave.

Making the move will solve one big problem for Solskjaer. As soon as Pogba is out, he'll stop worrying when the Frenchman will be ready to play again or if he is coming back at all.

Most importantly for United, getting rid of Pogba soon will enable the club to earn loads of cash, to the tune of £150 million, the estimated maximum amount that the midfielder can fetch when offered to interested teams.

Surely, Pogba is a great talent, but it will be wasted when his mind almost always wanders outside of Old Trafford.
