Another breakup rumor has come to light for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Some quarters believe that the marriage of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not last because there's no real love in this relationship as Meghan is allegedly only using Prince Harry.

Royalist Ambika Shetty Khan, who claimed to have studied the British royal family, posted on Quora that Meghan and Prince Harry's marriage may fail on the grounds that the Duchess of Sussex does not understand her role in the royal family. The commenter said that, unlike Prince William's wife Kate Middleton, Meghan grew up as the black sheep of her own family who isn't close to her siblings so it's not surprising, she does not attempt to blend in with her in-laws.

Another royal fan said that Meghan is using the royal family and Prince Harry for her own gain. Dianne Timpson stated that the former actress wanted the publicity and media attention more than blending in and getting along.

But defenders of Meghan also chimed in and stated that every marriage, regardless of the couple's status in life, has a chance of failing or otherwise. People who also believe that Meghan and Prince Harry's marriage would fail are the very people who simply like to speculate about things without knowing anything about the real state of the royals' relationship.

The debate comes as a resident of the Brighton county lodged a petition calling for its Council to strip Prince Harry and Meghan's Sussex titles. Filed by Charles Ross, the campaign has, so far, accumulated nearly 4,000 signatures from other residents who think that the Sussex royals are disrespectful to the county.

In the petition, Ross wrote that residents of Brighton and Hove hope that their Council will no longer refer to Prince Harry and Meghan the the "Sussex" royals. This title is apparently the "non-democratic and symbolic of the oppression of the general public by the wealthy elite."

Ross added that the Brighton Council must also never entertain nor invite Prince Harry and Meghan, as well as extend any hospitality or courtesy to this royal pair beyond what is ordinarily accorded to any citizen. Prince Harry and Meghan visited the county last October and were warmly received.

According to the Evening Standard, the local council will debate on Ross' petition in this week's meeting. The titles Duke and Duchess of Sussex were gifted by Queen Elizabeth to Prince Harry and Meghan when they got married last May 2018.
