Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are currently enjoying their break from royal duties in the United States. It has been weeks already since they left the United Kingdom, along with their firstborn, Archie Harrison.

Amid their stay away from media and public scrutiny, Prince Andrew's "bombshell" interview emerged. While the reported favorite son of Queen Elizabeth II seemed to hope for empathy from the public, he was instead slammed and criticized after.

This apparently resulted in more attacks and objections from the public as well as the media. Accordingly, it was logical as to why he shortly "stepped back" from his royal duties.

According to Mirror UK, the actions made by Prince Andrew negatively impacted the monarchy as a whole. It was explained that the effects and impacts are not only directed toward the Queen but, it also reportedly affected the rest of the British Royal Family.

Although several royal experts and analysts were certain that these "effects" are all negative, not to mention, it has been even deemed as "one of the Royal Family's biggest humiliations in history, some royal commentators claimed that this might have "benefited" Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.

In an episode of The Heirpod, royal biographer, Robert Jobson stated that this might have "saved" the Sussex couple from the family "circus." The reason being is that Prince Andrew's early "retirement" may be seen as an "opportunity" for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry to also follow his footsteps in the near future.

It is worth noting that the duke and duchess recently revealed that they have been struggling living the royal life after getting married in 2018. So, if they decide to change their roles in the monarchy, they likely have the freedom to do so, Jobson explained.

He further stated that Prince Charles will certainly help Meghan Markle and Prince Harry once they voice out their real hopes. If they decide to stay in the United States or somewhere else, even outside the vicinity of the United Kingdom, there will be "no problems" with that, he added.

It was also pointed out that the Heir Apparent, as well as the Queen, will be much more focused on the Cambridge household, especially Kate Middleton and Prince William, more than the Sussexes. Besides, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are way down the "totem pole," so, that is "not really an issue," he concluded.
