Meghan Markle has been the face of many speculations and allegations since she became Prince Harry's wife and the official Duchess of Sussex. While, at first, the former Hollywood actress was applauded for her strength and courage to "thrive" amid the media scrutiny, she has been now facing a lot of struggles living the royal life.

According to the New York Times Post, Anne Diamond stated earlier this week in a segment her material, the Jeremy Vine Show, that the now-Duchess of Sussex was "repeatedly warned" about marrying into the British Royal Family.

The reason behind the said warnings was the "fears" and demands of becoming part of the family. But, despite all the "strong warnings" given to her, she still went on to marry the eligible Prince Harry in 2018 just after a year of officially dating.

This was also admitted by Meghan Markle, herself, during an interview with Tom Bradby a few months ago. She shared with the host of the documentary that her British friends warned her about sealing the deal with the family. Aside from the challenging tasks of keeping up with the royals' lifestyle, there is also the apparent media scrutiny that will add further to the challenge and struggle.

But, as mentioned, she went against all the advice and warnings. Although she tried to keep up with everything after marrying the "love of her life," the Duchess of Sussex also revealed that it has been "damaging" to her internally.

Based on her statements in the "bombshell" documentary, Meghan & Harry: An African Journey, she admitted that it was not enough to "survive" as this is not the point of life. She also went on to share that there were not many people around her who asks if she is okay. The duchess even went a little "teary-eyed" upon disclosing her side as per reports.

While seemingly hoping to obtain the empathy of the public, she was, unfortunately, slammed and criticized, for bringing the Hollywood side of her to the British Royal Family. The same is also true for Prince Harry as he likely admitted in the same documentary that there is an ongoing "rift" between him and Prince William.

Nevertheless, Express UK reported that Prince Andrew's former wife, the Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson empathized with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry after witnessing the interview. As stated, the duchess has been also going through the same struggles in spite of being no longer married to the Queen's second son.
