The Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro are arriving in Mar. 2020 and earlier this week, we got a glimpse of their respective designs courtesy of the renders shared by OnLeaks. One of the most interesting parts of the renders is the rear camera design of the upcoming smartphones, which shares a striking resemblance with the Samsung S20 series. While the renders did not show the total number of cameras, a new leaked image of the Huawei P40 Pro surfaced online, showing the camera configuration at the back of the smartphone.
The leaked image is from a Chinese tech site ITHome and shows the upcoming Huawei P40 Pro in a pale-blue color. The rectangular housing holds five cameras, where four camera sensors stacked on top of each other. On the right part of the rectangular housing is the fifth sensor, presumably the periscope camera.
Additionally, the alleged Huawei P40 Pro image shows that instead of squeezing the LED flash within the camera housing along with the sensors, Huawei placed it underneath. The four sensors are presumably the primary camera, the ultra-wide camera, the Time of Flight camera, and the macro camera. OnLeaks earlier claimed that the primary sensor is a 64 megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor.

The ultrawide angle camera, on the other hand, is a 20 megapixel sensor while the periscope camera is believed to be a 12 megapixel sensor. Earlier leaks reports claimed that the Huawei P40 Pro would feature a Quad HD Plus curved display. It might have a 98 percent screen to body ratio and measure 6.5-inch.

Tipster Rodent950 earlier claimed that the Huawei P40 Pro would feature a 90 Hz refresh rate. The upcoming smartphone from the Chinese tech giant is rumored to house the powerful Kirin 990 5G SoC. It might also pack a 5500 mAh battery pack. Several reports also claim that the Huawei P40 Pro might support 50W SuperCharge wired charging and wireless charging as well.
It is worth mentioning that while the details and specs about Huawei P40 Pro are interesting, these are not official. Even the earlier renders and the latest leaked image do not come from Huawei. In other words, just like any leaks, we recommend taking this one with a pinch of salt and with skepticism.
