The latest teaser triggered interests from fans, which some claims that it is hinting about the PlayStation 5 or its big reveal happening in the event.
It isn't easy for fans not to think that the text on the Japanese console maker's website is about the grand launch of its next-generation gaming console, the PlayStation 5. CES 2020 is one of the major tech and electronics events of the year, making it an ideal venue to unveil the much-awaited gaming console officially. The question is, will Sony make it happen at the event?
In addition to the text "The Future is Coming," there are other words written on the website. It reads, "At CES 2020 Sony is unveiling a unique vision of the future, bringing creativity and technology together like never before, to unleash new sensations and emotions." The Consumer Electronics Show is a long-running event where Sony generally showcases its other products, but not PlayStation, according to Push Square.
The company traditionally holds a brief press conference that flaunts the electronics products of the company like TVs and phones, along with the prototype technology that is currently developed behind closed doors, the site adds.
