Around this time in 2020, console gamers would be in delight breaking in the Sony PlayStation 5 as its maker already revealed that the device would be coming out in time for the holiday season next year. For now, it remains a waiting game but thanks to a new claim the juicy details of the PS5 are beginning to take form.

Tipster @PSErebus has been known to provide accurate info on the Sony hardware, and the latest from the channel alleged there would be a gradual revelation of the product, starting with the PS5 controller.

"DUALSHOCK 5 will be unveiled in the first quarter of 2020. PlayStation 5 will be available to preorder worldwide shortly afterward," the prolific leaker said in a recent Twitter post.

While unconfirmed, the tweet can be deduced as Sony wanting to figure out how many units must be shipped out for the initial push of the device, according to Tech Nave, adding that if true that the preorder is happening anytime between January and March 2020 then the PS5 production has been finalized.

It could follow then that a demo would be scheduled by Sony after the preorder, meaning gaming fans will have a glimpse of the actual capabilities packed with the sequel to the PS4.

The teasers from @PSErebus did not end there as the succeeding tweets from the same account indicated that Sony would make the console available to the North American market starting on November 20, 2020, then select markets will follow suit, according to BGR.

Would-be buyers will be spending no less than $499 to experience the gaming machine, and the numbers align with previously leaked details.

So pretty much, all the information required by excited fans to prepare for the launch have been revealed, and only the confirmation from Sony will validate this claim, made by the same source that in the past has been spot on.

Per the same report, the tweets may sound fantastic, but they also make sense if one would look back on how the PS4 release unfolded back in 2013.

BGR recalled the PS4 was introduced in New York in February 2013 then a few months later, the actual design and pricing details were revealed via the E3 2013. Eventually, the commercial availability was set on November 15, thus giving a hint that the PS5 will take on the same route.

Surely, this pattern is not exactly what Sony might use, but at least gaming fans now have an outline of how things would playout for the PlayStation 5 release. If @PSErebus will prove correct, then the funs starts to unwrap March next year and the climax to finally drop in November 2020.
