Earlier this week, the late Princess Diana made it again to the headlines after celebrity Rhonda Burchmore revealed a few fun details about her and the late royal. As it happened, she recalled an incident where she performed in front of the Royal Family and fell while tap dancing.
According to Daily Mail, the popular entertainer shared the details of the story with her "campmates" on I'm A Celebrity on Monday. It was revealed that the show, Hot Shoe Shuffle, took place in a "fancy" ballroom.
Rhonda Burchmore stated that she put her shoes on and dance to Everything Old Is New Again. But, in the middle of her routine, she revealed that she fell on her "ars*."
While present members of the Royal Family did not find it "amusing," Princess Diana had a different reaction. Based on claims, the late Princess of Wales "peed her pants" with laughter as she found the whole blunder "hilarious" and fun. The celebrity, then, described Prince Charles' former wife as a "pleasant exception" given that she was the only one who found it all "amusing."
In a similar report published by Express UK, Rhonda Burchmore also shared that she met Princess Diana "five" or "six times" prior to her car crash in 1997. Two of these meetings were her tap dance performances including her hilarious blunder.
The late royal was also reported to first visit Australia two years after her wedding. It was even noted that this royal tour in 1983 will be featured in the upcoming season of Netflix Original's The Crown.
Prince Charles will still be played by Josh O'Connor. As for Princess Diana, her character will be introduced in the new installment, who will be played by Emma Corrin.
It was also hinted that the cast of the series utilized the surroundings of Almeria, Spain to "recreate" the royal tour in Australia. The release date of the new season has not been confirmed yet. Even so, fans and avid watchers of the series are convinced that it might arrive in 2021.
More on Rhonda Burchmore's part, she received the Order of Australia in 2014. It was widely known that the recognition was said to be an award given only to "exceptional Australians."
For 40 years now, she has been one of the most "prolific entertainers" in Australia. But, as of the moment, she has been spending her days inside the "jungle" for the show, I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! along with other celebrities from various industries.
