HOW IS IT PRODUCED?

As of its name, cockroach milk is gathered from the insect that crawls under your bed at night. But it is not just from any other cockroach. This power food is gathered from just one species, the Diploptera punctata.

According to Body and Soul, to gather the milk, one has to kill a female insect and also their embryos. But since cockroaches are so small, to gather enough drink for human consumption would require about 1000 cockroaches to produce just about 100ml of the beverage.

WHAT HAPPENED?

The last laboratory analysis ever recorded for this beverage was in 1977. But for some reason, the study was discontinued and to roll the product out of the market was canceled. One of the speculations why it has never reach the shelves of your favorite supermarket is because of insufficient information whether or not this drink is safe for humans to consume.
