Samsung is believed to unveil four versions of its upcoming 2020 flagship release that will be taking the name Galaxy S20. The expectation was for the Galaxy S11 to replace the hero phone of last year but to usher in the entry of the new decade, Samsung seems more inclined to go for the S20 label.

For the 2020 push, varying screen sizes will greet fans of the Samsung flagship, a possibility that was hinted when screen protectors designed for the upcoming devices were spotted at the just concluded CES 2020 in Las Vegas.

According to WCCFTech, a fourth build will be added to the Samsung Galaxy 2020 menu and will go by the name Galaxy S20 Ultra. This model will sport a 6.9-inch display panel, which should explain the label, and will likely boast of bumped up specifications.

It is rumored as well that the S20 Ultra will be distinct as it's the model in line with exclusive 5G capability.

And coming from the servings of 2019, the 2020 series will be consisting of the regular Galaxy S20, the Galaxy S20 Plus, and the Galaxy S20e, which has to be the more affordable of the bunch as its predecessor was. As mentioned, the S20 will have different screen sizes - the regular S20 and the S20e will unbox with a 6.2-inch display while the S20 Plus will stretch a bit at 6.7-inch.

Likewise indicated in the screen protector design is that the S20 series will all feature a single-sensor selfie camera, meaning the front face of the device will come with a punch-hole design that Samsung first used with the Galaxy Note 10 series.

As for the fingerprint sensor, the ultrasonic type will likely be preferred by Samsung, the report added.

In a related report, BGR said a new leak claimed the selling of the S20 line would start at $799 that presumably is for the Galaxy S20e, which has been billed by Samsung as the most affordable of the series. The priciest will be the S20 Ultra with a tag price of $1099.

The high price might be explained by the inclusion of a periscope zoom camera, which will be a first for Samsung.

The handsets are scheduled for introduction on February 11, the day Samsung confirmed will be the unpacked event although the actual availability is yet to be shared by the South Korean tech giant. But thanks to the same leaked information, the Galaxy S20 release date could be set on March 6, a day that must be said is not written in stone.
