Kate Middleton is always praised for her style and appearance. With her fashionable clothing pieces complemented with stunning accessories, she normally steals the spotlight in every engagement.

While most of her garments have been revealed in terms of brands and names, it was claimed recently that the duchess has been very fond of doing "tweaks." As it happens, she doesn't want to appear "sexy" and inappropriate when it comes to dressing herself.

According to The Sun, there were several times that the Duchess of Cambridge wore designer items that were tweaked to appear "more regal." Based on the report, the "stylish Kate" was seen during her visit to Mary Berry's show,  A Berry Royal Christmas, wearing the red Alessandra Rich dress.

It was shared that Kate Middleton altered the dress to hide the plunging neckline and the "waist-high slit." As seen as well on photos and clips, the duchess added a huge bow to further complement the dress well.

In previous years, the publication noted that Prince William's wife also tweaked several of her clothes for various events. During the Cambridge couple's tour in Pakistan, she wore the Mint Velvet Chocolate Utility Shirtdress. But, instead of wearing it as it is, the duchess altered it into a top.

The same was also said to be true for her Elie Saab short-sleeved top, which she turned into a full length-sleeved and partnered with a same-colored skirt to make it look like a one-piece dress. This was seen on her during the Royal Ascot in July 2019.

During her visit to the charity Family Action in January, Kate Middleton wore a Beulah London forest green dress. Originally, the dress featured "fluted sleeves." However, she altered it and have them removed.

Another instance when she was spotted wearing an altered designer garment was during her Wimbledon attendance with Meghan Markle. The duchess wore a green Dolce & Gabbana dress. But, the huge embroidered clock from the design was removed to make it look simpler.

As added by the reports, these simple alteration jobs were probably given to her stylist, Natasha Archer, who has been with her since 2014. However, when she is not around, former Vogue editor Virginia Chadwyck-Healey is the one who styles the Duchess of Cambridge.

It was further revealed that Kate Middleton and Prince William are good friends with Virginia, or also known as Ginnie, since the two women studied History of Art together during their university days.
