Although the holiday shopping season has already past, the demands for Apple AirPods Pro is still beyond the available supply. Orders placed on Apple's official website, unfortunately, will not arrive until Feb. 3, 2020. But, while waiting for the arrival of the stocks of Apple AirPods Pro, those who have AirPods can check out this tutorial on how to rename their pair of wireless earbuds.
While the Cupertino tech giant Apple is known for its technologically advanced products, its approach to technology is, at times, basic in some areas. Take the Apple AirPods, for instance. Users need to connect their AirPods to their iPad or iPhone, and they can enjoy the benefits of Apple's truly wireless earbuds.
But, if you want to level up customizing your Apple AirPods to the point of changing its name, this tutorial could help you. First, connect your Apple AirPods or AirPods Pro to your iPad or iPhone then launch the Settings app. After that, tap on Bluetooth and tap the 'i' icon beside your AirPods.
Under Name, tap on the name of your AirPods and change it to whatever name you want. Tap Done when you are satisfied with the name. Once you tap the done button, all the changes will sync across your devices linked to your AirPods or AirPods Pro. And that's about it, it is very simple, and you can do it in no time.
Meanwhile, if you have placed an order on a pair of AirPods Pro on the official website of the company, you will receive a notification that your order will not arrive before Feb. 3, 2020. Unfortunately, the situation is the same in other parts of the world and not just in the US. Online retailers like Amazon and Target also list Apple AirPods Pro as temporarily unavailable.
Walmart and Best Buy official websites have no Apple AirPods Pro stocks either. In other areas like the UK, Apple's official website also notes that the AirPods Pro stocks will not arrive until Feb. 1, 2020, and Feb. 4, 2020, in Germany.
In Australia, the official Apple website also states that the AirPods Pro will not arrive until February. But, some persistent Apple customers were able to find stocks in some brick and mortar stores across the US. Perhaps because some of these retail stores are receiving episodic shipments of Apple AirPods Pro. Anyway, February is just a few days away, so it will not be long before your much-awaited Apple AirPods Pro arrives.
