V and Jungkook are both from the “Maknae Line," which is why fans sometimes forget that they are old enough to drink. However, just because they are allowed to drink alcohol now, it doesn’t mean that V is willing to flaunt it on live broadcasts. Jungkook, on the other hand, has a different outlook.

BTS is set for an interview and performance on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Jan. 28, so they are currently busy practicing for their “Black Swan” choreography. After a hard day’s work, V went live on VLive where he sang a couple of songs and answered some fans’ questions.

To reward himself for his hard work, V decided to open a bottle of wine. “I’m done with my work today. I can open a bottle of wine for the good job I’ve done,” he said.

V made sure to pop the bottle off the frame and then set it aside. According to the BTS star, alcohol should not be on a live broadcast. (Watch the clip here). So for him to not feel guilty for having wine during his VLive, he decided to call it his “grape juice.”

“The wine that I was talking about is a grape juice, which I drink every evening,” V said. “I will drink grape juice and call it a day.”

Meanwhile, Jungkook is more than willing to call his “grape juice” with its real name. In fact, the BTS maknae had no problem showing a bottle of wine off during his previous live broadcast. He even did a little ASMR by tapping his nails on the glass bottle. (Watch the clip here).

Unlike V, Jungkook excitedly opened the bottle in front of the camera. He then announced that his live broadcast is going to be a video of him “getting drunk.”

While all of the BTS members drink, some are lightweight drinkers such as J-Hope (who ranked himself last when it comes to best tolerance when drinking) and V (who previously said that his drinking capacity is only one glass). As for Jungkook, he wouldn’t turn down a drink and even found himself a drinking buddy in Jin.

Suga also lets him try some different drinks in Bon Voyage Season 3. The older BTS star then called their one-on-one drinking session as “friendship.” Since Suga introduced Jungkook to Irish Bomb, which the younger one liked more than whiskey, they ended up their trip to the pub with a fist bump while saying “Friendship is Irish Bomb.”
