BTS is known for spoiling their own albums and tours. While they don’t really mean to reveal these pieces of information, it just slips up most of the time.
Most of BTS’ contents are filmed months before its release, so RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are usually unsure what has been or has not been revealed to their fans. This confusion oftentimes leads to spoilers, courtesy of the members themselves (especially RM).
But the BTS boys have learned from their mistakes and are now extra careful when it comes to these secret details. So when a fan brought up BTS’ upcoming Map Of The Soul Tour during V’s live broadcast on VLive, he didn’t know how to react to it.
What V failed to know is the fact that Big Hit Entertainment already released the Map Of The Soul Tour dates and locations hours before he went live. The BTS star probably missed the announcement, so he was stunned when an ARMY mentioned it.
“‘I’m working hard to earn the money for the tickets,’” V read the fan’s comment out loud. He then paused for a moment and looked at his computer screen with a confused face. “Was there an announcement about our concert? That we are doing a concert?” V asked the viewers.
The BTS star then sort of figured things out. V wondered if the Map Of The Soul Tour has not been announced yet, then how did the fan know about it. However, he still played it safe just in case the ARMY was just tricking him to slip up.
“Is it announced? Is it? Then, how does the fan know?” V wondered. “We don’t know about these things. But we will hold a concert someday.” (Watch the clip here).
“Someday” means from April to September of this year. BigHit Entertainment has finally announced the upcoming official tour dates for their Map of The Soul Tour on Jan. 22, where it was revealed that BTS will be going on a world tour to meet all of their global fans once again. A special graphic for their first shows also released, which will be held at the Olympic Stadium in Seoul on April 11-12, and 18-19.
Meanwhile, BTS is set for an interview and performance on The Late Late Show with James Corden on Jan. 28, where they will perform their latest single “Black Swan” for the first time ever.
