Now that Meghan Markle already stepped down as a senior member of the royal family, some wonder what will be her next role. News has it that she will have a voice-over work with Disney, while her name is also linked on the streaming giant Netflix. However, one royal insider believes that the Duchess of Sussex can follow in Angelina Jolie's footsteps to create a perfume line of her own.

Royal expert Lainey Lui is convinced that the former actress can release her own perfume line. In an interview with ABC's royal podcast HeirPod, she said that a perfume business could work for Prince Harry's wife in the long-term.

"I look at the example of Angelina Jolie. She is a UN ambassador and a world-class beauty model," Lui said, per Express. Brad Pitt's former wife has ad campaigns and promoted it at her animal reserve in Africa. She also did photoshoots for the beauty products in Cambodia.

Angelina Jolie managed to link in her works in a place where she adopted her son, Maddox, and did her first directorial movie, First They Killed My Father. She organically intertwined her philanthropic work. Hence, Lui believed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could do the same in the next year or two.

They can even do it well in five years with the group of people that can do the work behind them. However, the Sussexes' immediate work will be a speaking engagement and Prince Harry can begin his work with Oprah on an Apple TV series.

Meanwhile, before all of these things happened, Daily Mail Online reported that Queen Elizabeth II offered Prince Harry and Meghan Markle the freedom to live without royal titles before their marriage in 2018. But, the former Suits star was, reportedly, "happy" to leave her acting career in Hollywood and become a working royal.

A source said that, before their royal wedding took place, Her Majesty offered Meghan Markle to have her freedom and continue her acting career. This way, she would have a "smooth transition" into royal life but she, reportedly, refused because she wanted to become a "working member of the royal family."

But, after more than a year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle surprised everyone when they announced their decision to step back from their royal duties. After the crisis talks, Buckingham Palace announced that, starting Spring 2020, they would stop using their HRH titles and withdraw from their royal duties, including official military appointments.
