Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shocked the world when they previously announced that they want to quit the royal life. Although the pair is still known as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, they can “no longer formally represent” Queen Elizabeth in their new lives.

It was then confirmed that Queen Elizabeth supports Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision. But, of course, things are understandably tough in the royal family household after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s withdrawal. Now, Prince Charles shared that he tries to be a peacemaker.

“I have spent much of my life trying to bring people together,” Prince Charles said. When asked if he considered himself a peacemaker, the future King said, “I try. I’d rather be a peacemaker.”

While the question was vague as it didn’t mention anything about Harry and Meghan Markle’s exit to royal life, it was easy to conclude that Prince Charles was referring to the current issue within the royal family.

After announcing their decision, Harry and Meghan Markle’s website stated that they would “carve out a progressive new role” and “adjust their working model.” But after their discussion with Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, and Prince William, it was decided that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will completely step back from royal duties as of spring of 2020.

And because of that, the Palace revealed that Harry and Meghan Markle were required to drop their HRH (His Royal Highness or Her Royal Highness) titles. However, this title needs to be looked at as the style was only used for women who have divorced members of the Royal Family.

“Palace sources have told me they are continuing to review how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be referred to in the future after it appears Meghan was mistakenly given the style or title of a divorced woman,” Sky News’s royal correspondent Rhiannon Mills said. “The problem lies in the comma. Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.”

Meanwhile, it was previously reported that a lot of people were not happy with Harry and Megan Markle’s decision to live part-time in Canada. Angry locals have told the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that they are not welcome in their country.

In a column in the Canadian newspaper, the Daily Mirror, it stated that Canada is not a back-up place when someone is “looking to get out of Britain while remaining a royal.” The paper then described Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision as “vague and evolving.”
