Jennifer Lopez got brushed off at the recent announcement of 2020 Oscars nominees and it caused speculations that the singer/actress took the snub seriously. Recent rumors have it that JLo is crying non-stop over the Oscars snub and it is driving her fiance Alex Rodriquez crazy.

Understandably, Lopez could be disappointed over the recent Oscars snub. However, the claim that she won't stop crying because of it could be an overstatement.

In Touch published a report that suggested ARod is already giving JLo a warning to stop crying over her exclusion at the Academy Awards. The publication claimed the snub hit hard on Lopez considering many have predicted that she would get a Best Supporting Actress nom from prestigious award-giving body. JLo got a nod from the Golden Globes and the Screen Actors Guild Award for her role in the movie Hustlers.

Lopez's current state is reportedly particularly hard on Rodriguez since he is the one dealing with her emotional distress. The New York Yankees star allegedly trying to cheer his fiancee up by telling the "On The Floor" singer that is a great actress and that she would get an Oscar someday. However, Lopez is reportedly too upset of the snub and has been crying since the announcement.

"He's tired of hearing it... Of course she's not complaining about it publicly, but she is privately, and A-Rod can't take listening to it anymore," the outlet source said.

Gossip Cop said the only factual information in the In Touch story is the fact that Oscars did not recognize Lopez' performance in Hustlers. Other than that, the rest of its claims are false.

The outlet also cited Lopez's interview with Access Hollywood prior to the Oscar nomination announcement. In the said interview, Lopez stressed that she is flattered by the positive reviews Hustlers has been receiving.

However, the Second Act actress admitted that she doesn't want to get her hopes up about the nomination. This showed that regardless of the outcome of the Oscars' nomination, JLo would be fine with it.

Gossip Cop also pointed out that In Touch always published fabricated stories about the soon-to-be-wed couple. In September 2019, the site claimed Lopez was upset that Rodriguez would like to invite their exes to their wedding.

Meanwhile, it is still unclear whether or not Lopez will attend the Oscars on February 10. At the moment, the singer is busy preparing for her Super Bowl Halftime Show performance along with Shakira. The event is slated on February 2.
