Doctor Who season 12 episode 6 is set to arrive on BBC later this week, with the title "Praxeus." One of the biggest questions in this episode is whether or not it's related to Praxeas from centuries ago. There's no clear answer for that right now, but one thing is for sure, the episode is full of mysteries.

In Doctor Who season 12 episode 6, the Team Tardis will investigate the connection between US naval officer who washes up on a Madagascan beach, birds behaving strangely in Peru, and a missing astronaut in the Indian Ocean.

It looks like these three incidents have something in common and the team will find that out in Doctor Who season 12 episode 6. However, it's a big risk for them so they need to do whatever they can to solve the mysterious cases and whether or not they're indeed connected.

The series officially made it halfway through the season and more stories continue to unfold. Also, it looks like the season is not the final one for Jodie Whittaker as the 13th Doctor. It was confirmed the actress will still play the role in season 13.

In a report from the Entertainment Weekly, Whittaker made it clear she's not stepping back from the role she took on in season 11. The actress confirmed she's doing another season, and revealed she wasn't supposed to say that thing but couldn't help herself.

Whittaker sticking for three seasons mirror other Doctors' time in the series. There's a chance season 13 would be the final installment for the actress, though nothing is confirmed as of yet. If ever, Whittaker's character may leave something big before she exits to give way for the new Doctor.

But although Whitakker's future in the series is certain, Tosin Cole's fate is in question. Recently, Deadline reported Cole is set to lead the upcoming AMC courtroom drama 61st Street. The series already received a two-season commitment, so Cole might be busy with the show.

As per CarterMatt, Cole's future in Doctor Who is still up in the air right now. His schedule in the series to play Ryan is quite demanding and it would be impossible for him to balance two shows at the same time. But for now, there's no official announcement that he's leaving the BBC series.

Doctor Who season 12 episode 6 airs on Sunday, Feb. 2, on BBC.
