It will be daughter versus father as Meghan Markle's dad, Thomas Markle Sr, is ready to face her kid on the court to clear all the lies made against him. The patriarch now breaks his silence over the royal crisis that the former suits star and her husband, Prince Charles, are going through after they announced their decision to step back from their royal duties.

In an interview on ITV's Good Morning Britain, Thomas Markle described her daughter and son-in-law's resignation as confusing and senseless. He also said that he was "very disappointed" by their decision, per Express.

The former Hollywood lighting director called the Sussexes' plan to leave their royal lives as "very stressful." "I'm still very disappointed with what's going on," he said. Although he loves her daughter and her grandson if he will only meet him, their decision to "make it or break it" with the royals confuses him.

He also finds that what happened makes no sense. Thomas Markle even believes that no one can understand or figure out why it has to end that way.

The senior Markle also talked about the claims that Meghan Markle is a victim of racism since she joined the royal family. He told Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan that he has a hard time "buying" that issue, explaining that the former actress never encounters problems about her race either at her school, in any place, or England.

He even thinks that England is far more liberal than the United States when it comes to racists. Hence, he doesn't believe that the Duchess of Sussex has been bullied because of her race.

Meanwhile, Thomas Markle warned Meghan Markle that everything would come out if they would see each other in court. According to Fox News, the 75-year-old will reportedly be a witness after his kid sued a British newspaper for publishing a personal letter she sent to him in August 2018.

Thomas Markle hopes to shed some light on the lies made against him. He knew it would be emotional, and he still had no idea how they would both accept what would happen. Although he admitted that it would be the worst place to see Meghan Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, together for the first time, he stood firm that he would testify against the "lies" said about him.

The father and daughter haven't spoken to each other since May 2018. Thomas Markle didn't even attend Megha Markle and Prince Harry's royal wedding due to health problems. However, he assured that he loves his daughter, but there was no other way that he could speak to her but through the press.
