Thomas Markle is willing to face Meghan Markle in court just to her daughter once again. In a heartbreaking interview, the 75-year-old talked about how he misses his child and even asked her husband, Prince Harry, to come and see him.
In an interview on Good Morning Britain, the senior Markle revealed his disappointment over not seeing his grandson, baby Archie, since he was born in May last year. He told the hosts Susanna Reid and Piers Morgan that he would be willing to testify against the Duchess of Sussex in court after she sued three newspapers if it would be the only way to see her.
"I really miss my daughter," Thomas Markle said, per Express. "If it comes to meeting them in a courtroom, that's great - at least I finally get to see them, but I don't want to face off or have a battle with them."
He explained that there was no way for him to reach Meghan Markle but through interviews. Hence, he is willing to give an interview every now and then just to get their response.
Thomas Markle also talked about his son-in-law, Prince Harry, and warned him to "man up" and see him. He said that she should have come to visit him to ask for his daughter's hand in marriage than asking it over the phone.
Knowing that Prince Harry is a royal, who has a plane and can come aboard anytime he wants, he could have come down to Mexico and personally meet him to ask for Meghan Markle's hand. He went on to say that he loves his child and would undoubtedly love his grandson and the Duke of Sussex if he could only meet them.
Thomas Markle has yet to see Meghan Markle again since she got married to Prince Harry in May 2018. He was supposed to walk her down the aisle during their wedding at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, but he wasn't able to fly to England due to his heart surgery.
He also talked about the Sussexes' royal exit, saying he was very disappointed about their decision to step back from their royal duties. He even called their announcement as senseless and confusing.
The former Hollywood lighting director said their decision to leave their royal lives was very stressful. Thomas Markle continued to say that their choice "to make it or break it" with the royals is very confusing, and he is disappointed with what's going on. He also believes that no one can understand or even figure out why it has to happen.
