The iOS 13 had its fair share of problems, and Apple is now trying to address them through fixes. The latest one to come out reportedly comes with minor resolutions but are nevertheless important for device owners running on the said mobile operating system version.

There are several issues iOS 13.1.1 will fix. At the top of the list are privacy features that were originally meant to employ stricter measures on users, particularly kids. One of them was the Communications Limits feature that prevented younger users from adding contacts without parental or guardian intervention, Slashgear reported. However, there were glitches that made those measures basically useless. It turns out that there were loopholes, allowing users to add contacts without the Screen Time passcode. That has reportedly now been fixed.

Other than that, there is the U11 Ultra Wideband chip that accounts for accurate location services. The problem here is that the ultra-wideband is not available in all regions. Still, the U1 chip will query the phone's location to check if it is an allowed area. The iOS 13.1.1 update now allowed users to toggle that option on or off.

Another fix has to do with the unannounced Powerbeats wireless earphones. The accessory icon somehow messes things up, mixing the design of the wireless Powerbeats Pro with the actual wired around-the-neck functionality of the Powerbeats 3.

There is also the lag that some users experience when using the Deep Fusion camera feature. The latest update addresses that. The loading of external images in the mail app has also been used - yet another privacy-related issue that Apple mobile device owners may have to worry about.

Despite the bugs that it brings, upgrading to iOS 13 is recommended for all Apple device owners already on this version. iOS 13.1.1 seems to have addressed major problems, hopefully enough before the next Apple mobile operating system comes around.

There are some users who never upgraded to iOS 13. Some are still on iOS 12 and some advice not to upgrade to the current one. Instead, it may be wise to wait for iOS 13.2. Beta testing for that is expected to commence soon.

Gordon Kelly of Forbes feels that more minor updates will be happening soon (i.e. iOS 13.1.2 or iOS 13.1.3). Some bugs may be resolved, but there is always the possibility of new ones rising. Those on the final release of the iOS 12 is still considered rock-solid, but applying a major upgrade right now should be held off until iOS 13 (hopefully) becomes bug-free.
