Apple’s last 4-inch smartphone is available once again after the iPhone SE was made available once again. The now-discontinued site is part of the Cupertino company’s clearance sale, with prices starting at $249 for the 32 GB variant.

The iPhone SE was discontinued in September of last year when the Apple unleashed its new line of mobile devices - the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR. The entry-level devices now available are the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus.

Debuting back in March 2016, the iPhone SE, the smallest device that Apple is now offering is the iPhone 8, Mac Rumors said. The iPhone SE models Apple has available are discounted by $100 for 32GB of storage and $150 for 128GB of storage. The iPhones for sale are unlocked and brand new in box.

Now technically one of the rare and brand new iPhones one can find in the market, the surprise offering has caught most by surprise. However, it is possible that these were among the remaining stocks over at Apple.

Previously, Apple had offered discounted iPhone SE models to its clearance store last Jan. 19. However, the stocks quickly got sold out but the company would eventually replenish the stock with the latest models made available.

Despite focus more on the latest iPhone models, the current stocks are expected to get sold out quickly once more. Hence, folks who are looking for a reasonably-priced iPhone or mobile devices that are smaller than the current generation of devices out in the market may want to act fast and place their orders.

Last year, there were rumors that Apple would be coming out an iPhone SE 2. Nothing materialized and the iPhone XR overshadowed the hype. More so, the discontinuance also signaled the end of the 4-inch models.

The unlikely release of an iPhone SE 2 had already been suggested by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo in early 2018. Other analysts share the same view and believed that the Cupertino company no longer had plans to produce 4-inch phones.

There are still some folks who prefer a smaller phone like the iPhone SE to carry around. With most having more than one phones nowadays, it remains a reliable device to use. For those who may have forgotten, the iPhone SE boasts of a 4.7-inch display and runs on an A9 Fusion chip, USA Today said.

Apple was selling the iPhone SE with 32GB and 128GB of storage for $349 and $449 prior to discontinuing the handset late last year.
