Consumers have been seeing various leaks and rumors revealing the specs and features of the upcoming flagship iPhone from Apple. A new leaked video details a piece of rather disappointing information about the iPhone 12 series, particularly those expecting that Apple would introduce a massive redesign to the models.
iPhone 12 Design
Last year, TFI Securities Analyst and reliable Apple tipster Ming-Chi Kuo predicted in one of his reports that the iPhone 12 series would feature the same design as the iPhone 11 series. Kuo also said that the series would distinctively feature flat metal edges instead of the usual rounded ones that the iPhone 11 has.
Kuo's report jives with the leak earlier shared by the Japanese site Macotakara. The site allegedly got three physical mockups, which accurately represent the designs of the iPhone 12 models. On a video, the website showcased the iPhone 12 models, which several various key takeaways, granting they are accurate.
It appears that the iPhone 12 have massive-looking bezels. The look could be due to the metal edges of the models and their actual bezels. The video also reveals that the dummies based on CAD files that the iPhone 12 models feature a big notch on the top of the screen.
Other iPhone 12 Leaks
Ming-Chi Kuo earlier shared that Apple would release four iPhone 12 models contrasting Macotakara's claim. Based on the report of the TFI Securities analyst, Apple would release a 5.4-inch OLED iPhone 12, a 6.1-inch OLED iPhone 12, another 6.1-inch OLED iPhone 12, and a 6.7-inch iPhone 12. The upcoming flagship smartphone from Apple would definitely house the A14 Bionic chip, which promises to offer more powerful features.
The 5.4-inch iPhone 12 reportedly would feature an in-screen TouchID based on the recently spotted patent filed by the Cupertino company. It is possible that all iPhone 12 models could have OLED based Touch Sensing and user ID. Another set of iPhone 12 leaks reveals that it would be available in a new color option.
Tipster Max Weinbach shared on his Twitter account that the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max would be available in 'Phantom Blue' color option. It is worth mentioning that these details are not official and are based on earlier leaks and speculations. We suggest taking these details with a good measure of salt and with skepticism.
