2020 is shaping to be a massive year, particularly for the smartphone industry. Apple is anticipated to introduce its flagship iPhone 12 series sometime in Sept. while its entry-level compact iPhone SE 2 or iPhone 9 is anticipated to arrive in the first quarter of the year. Here is a rundown of the smartphones releasing this Feb. 2020.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Series

Samsung already confirmed that it is holding an event this month called Unpacked. In this event, the South Korean tech giant is anticipated to launch the Galaxy S20 series, which, based on leaks and rumors are powerful smartphones. Earlier reports suggested that the flagship series would introduce three models.

These are the Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus, and the Galaxy S20 Ultra. The flagship smartphone series is also rumored to feature powerful camera configuration, including a 108 MP primary camera shooter and 5x optical zoom. The base model of the Galaxy S20 series is anticipated to pack a whopping 5,000 mAh battery pack.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip

In addition to the Galaxy S20 series, Samsung might launch its rumored clamshell-like foldable smartphone, which is the Galaxy Z Flip. Unlike the first foldable smartphone from Samsung, this one vertically and turns into a compact pocketable smartphone when folded. It might unveil at the Unpacked event of the South Korean tech giant on Feb.11.

While earlier reports claimed that the Galaxy Z Flip is the successor of the Galaxy Fold, it appears that it is not, since according to a new leak, it has a code name Bloom while the successor of the Fold has a code name Win. The Z Flip would feature the ultra thin glass, which reportedly is much thinner, more robust, and more resistant to dust and debris than the kind of material featured in Galaxy Fold.

POCO X2

POCO India is scheduled to unveil the POCO X2 today, which is the next smartphone released after the Pocophone F1. The flagship killer device features a 90 Hz refresh rate and house a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC. Unfortunately, the POCO X2 would be initially released in India. We have no information yet if the device would make its way in other regions.

Motorola RAZR

The much-awaited Motorola RAZR is now up for pre-orders. The device retails at $1,499 and would be available to consumers on Feb. 6, 2020. The foldable smartphone was initially scheduled to arrive in Nov. 2019, but it was delayed. It houses Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC 6 GB of RAM, and 128 GB of internal storage.

Other smartphones arriving this month include Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, Vivo Apex 2020, Oppo Find X2, RealMe C3, LG V60 ThinQ, iQOO 3, Motorola Moto G, and Sony Xperia 5.
