Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were recently spotted at the JPMorgan-sponsored event in Miami. This was the first time they appeared to the public after the controversial Megxit.

It has been weeks since the couple left the United Kingdom. While the deal of their royal exit is just about to take in effect come the spring season, it seemed like they have already started living the new chapter of their lives in Canada.

On Thursday, however, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly attended their first public event. Sources claimed that they arrived at the 1 Hotel South Beach in Miami, Florida to headline the said event.

According to Page Six of the New York Post, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were the "keynote speakers" of the Alternative Investment Summit. It was noted that the event is held annually in the city, which is sponsored by the investment banking company, JPMorgan.

The initial reports stated that the topic of the royals' speeches was undisclosed. It was revealed after, though, that the couple talked about "mental health" and their love for each other.

As per The Independent UK, the presenter, Gayle King, who was said to be present at Meghan Markle's baby shower, introduced primarily Prince Harry. Sources then shared that the Duke opened up about his struggles in terms of his mental health.

He then shared that he has been in "therapy" for a few years now. After "shutting down" his emotions for two decades, due to his mother, Princess Diana's death, he was able to cope up with help of therapy, the source said.

It was then added that the young Prince talked about the "events of his childhood," and how these things "affected him." This was said to be the reason why he sought help from a "mental health professional."

After sharing "boldly" his current challenges, Prince Harry then reportedly moved on to "touch on" Megxit. Based on assertions, the Duke of Sussex said that quitting the royal life "has been very difficult for him and Meghan Markle."

However, he was said to contend that "he does not regret" their decision to finally quit and step down as senior members of the British Royal Family. The reason being is that "he wants to protect" his wife and son. Prince Harry apparently, does not want Meghan Markle and Archie Harrison to experience the same "trauma" that he did during his childhood years.

Following his speech, the Duchess was also said to say a few words during the event. Sources from various publications attested that the former actress expressed her "love" and adoration for her husband.
