Prince Harry, allegedly, went to a top London hair loss clinic to get a thickening treatment for his bald spot last January. Before he left to reunite with Meghan Markle in Canada, the Duke of Sussex, reportedly, visited the Philip Kingsley Trichological Clinic in Mayfair for some help with his growing hair issue.
According to The Sun, the size of Prince Harry's bald patch has doubled following his wedding to Meghan in May 2018. He also visited the clinic sometime in the fall of last year to help improve his famous ginger locks.
A source from the clinic said that Prince Harry's visit "caused a real stir." However, the facility boasts of rich and famous clients from all over London so its employees are used to handling VIPs visiting the clinic for treatments.
Prince Harry's hair loss has been quite noticeable to royal fans. Recently, the Duke of Sussex's bald spot drew attention when he got up on stage to deliver a speech for a Rugby League World Cup event in Buckingham Palace.
According to trichologist Rali Bozhinova, Prince Harry's hair loss is similar to his brother, Prince William. The expert said that this is a typical sign of male pattern baldness, per Daily Star.
Some royal fans think that Prince Harry's growing bald spot may be due to the stress of being in the royal family. Bozhinova said that the intense public scrutiny and criticisms can be so stressful that it could affect the hair's growth cycle negatively.
At this rate, hair experts said that Prince Harry could completely be bald in the next five years. However, it's a matter of personal choice if the royal should completely shave off his head or keep his locks the way it is.
Prince Harry once joked about his brother's accelerating hair loss. In one royal engagement in Barbados, the brothers were gifted with a painting of themselves. Prince Harry, apparently, said that his brother's image was falsely portrayed since the painting of Prince William had more hair.
Prince William started losing his hair in his early 20s. To deal with his changing physical appearance, the Duke of Cambridge opted to completely shave his head in 2018. The royal, who is a proud father of three, seems accepting of the fact that thinning hair and baldness runs in the family. Prince William even pokes fun of his hair loss in public.
