Kate Middleton is a mother of three young children, six-year-old Prince George, four-year-old Princess Charlotte, and one-year-old Prince Louis. Despite her busy schedule, the Duchess of Cambridge always sees to it to put her kids on the top of her priority list.

It’s no secret that Kate Middleton has always been passionate about children, not only because she is a mother, but she genuinely wants nothing but the best for the young ones. That being said, experts believe that the wife of Prince William could become the world’s most influential advocate on emotional subject.

“The Duchess has worked quietly away in the background for years. And now she knows that people want to hear from her,” the source said. “It's much easier to speak out when you know what you're talking about and passionate about your subject. She has become an expert in early years learning, she understands the science and is respected in the sector because she has spent the past eight years working it out. But she also wants to find answers. This is about evidence-based research."

Last week, Kate Middleton was left heartbroken after watching an Oscar-nominated Channel 4 documentary For Sama. The film tells the story of a baby born in war-torn Syria and the life of Waad al Kateab, raising her daughter in a place dominated way civil war. Kate Middleton was so moved with the documentary that the sought out the director at the EE British Academy Film Awards to share her devastation and sympathy, pointing out that Sama’s age on the film was similar to Prince Louis now.

“I was heartbroken,” The Duchess of Cambridge told Waad al Kateab. “My boy is a similar age to Sama. You are a great inspiration for every woman.”

Waad al Kateab won the Bafta for the Best Documentary at the awards ceremony on Sunday and dedicated her win to the people of Syria. She was accompanied by her husband and Sama on stage.

Waad al Kateab previously shared that the whole ordeal left her suffering from post-traumatic-stress disorder (PTSD). “We’re trying to sleep as much as we can. To be honest, in any trauma situation, you feel there are many problems. Everything you’ve seen in the film is still happening right now. Thousands of mothers and thousands of children are going through the same thing,” she said.
