BTS is currently the biggest boy band on the planet and has already reached the superstardom status. However, Jin hasn’t lost his “broke rookie” mindset despite being a multi-millionaire now.
Recently, a fan took to Weverse to share screenshots of Jin and a giant winged angel in BTS’s “Blood, Sweat & Tears” music video. The ARMY simply wrote, “I can’t forget…” as the caption.
Jin is famous for replying to fans on Weverse. Although he was pretty quiet for quite a while, the BTS star broke his silence and replied to some of the posts on the social media platform like the one mentioned above.
“The statue is at director Lumpens’ company storage room, but he said he’ll give it to me,” Jin wrote. “I’m selling – drop offers.”
Jin is estimated to have a net worth of around $8 million, which means that he is far from having a financial crisis. However, Mr. Worldwide Handsome is just as frugal-minded now as he was back then when BTS was still trying to climb the K-pop ladder.
During their rookie days, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook all crammed up in a tiny dorm and had a limited amount of cash. Now, the BTS boys are living in the luxurious Hannam The Hill complex. They are also wealthy enough to purchase their own apartments and the group has an estimated net worth of $40 million to $60 million combined.
But Jin said it himself that he still likes free stuff even though he is rich enough to afford things. “I got outfits for free, as a gift. Why not? You can’t ask for free stuff when you’re rich? I didn’t ask for it. They gave them as a gift,” the BTS star previously shared in one of his live broadcasts.
Meanwhile, Jin may have the face of an angel but what ARMYs love about him more is his savagery. The BTS star is not one to mince his words or sugarcoat them. If he wants to say something, he says it unapologetically.
But just because Jin is straight forward, does not mean that he’s rude, mean, or wants to hurt someone else’s feelings. Most of the time, he says savage things to make ARMYs laugh.
Who says handsome guys are not supposed to be funny? Jin perfectly proves that K-pop visuals can have a sense of humor as well. In fact, despite being the oldest member of BTS, he is one of the most playful members of the group. Jin even got the nickname “fake maknae” for his fun ways.
