Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle are often compared to each other. Some are even putting them into a match, especially with their royal activities. As the Duchess of Sussex now steps down from her royal duties and Prince William's wife continuously receives praises with her engagements, is the latter trying to copy the former actress' pursuits?

There are reports that the Duchess of Cambridge tried to follow in the footsteps of Prince Harry's wife after she made a surprise visit to a café in Scotland. To recall, the former Suits star did the same when she paid a visit to London's Hubb Community Kitchen.

According to Express, Kate Middleton went to a famous café in Aberdeen, called Social Bite, which helps provide food and jobs to homeless people. Just like Meghan Markle, she also helped in preparing meals for the place's clients. She, too, talked to its staff and customers about their experiences of being homeless, how their hard times shaped their lives, and the stigma they faced.

The future queen consort commended Social Bite for making a difference. Its "This isn't about a second chance; it's about finding a first chance," she said. "Sometimes it's the simple things, like the idea of listening to people."

Social Bite's co-founder, Alice Thompson, and chief executive officer, Jane Bruce, warmly greeted Kate Middleton as she came to the kitchen and helped prepare food. Matt Thomas, one of its staff members, was one of the homeless people that the café helped.

He was homeless for five years and now has a permanent home and works full time at Social Bite. Talking about Kate's visit, Thomas said she made them feel "very much at ease" and showed interest in them as a person and their experiences. He, too, added her visit is good for their service users and staff.

People added Kate Middleton went to Scotland to spread the word of her new kids' initiative. It was another opportunity for her to promote her survey, called "5 Big Questions on the Under Fives," which started earlier this month.

Ipsos MORI surveyed Kate Middleton and Prince William's Royal Foundation. It aims to spark a national talk in the early years that will help bring positive, lasting change for generations to come.

Successfully, Kate Middleton completed her tour to promote the survey. After she went to England and Wales last month, she now learned the experiences of the locals in Northern Ireland and Scotland in the early years that had a significant impact on their later lives. The number of responses reached 200,000, making it the biggest survey conducted in the U.K. ever.
