After Meghan Markle married Prince Harry, she has been constantly compared to Kate Middleton. Since the Duchess of Cambridge had already been a part of the royal family so much longer than Prince Harry's wife, she usually gets all the praises while the Duchess of Sussex is being criticized over anything.

Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have long been rumored not to be close. Now, the former actress’ half-sister accused her of being jealous of Prince William’s wife.

“I believe she was jealous of beautiful Kate,” Samantha Markle said. “She could never compare – Kate is iconic! Perfect Queen material and lovely as a family member especially as a mother.” She then praised the Duchess of Cambridge’s style. “I was impressed with how Kate could make a $200 dress look like $2 million,” she shared.

Samantha Markle then slammed Meghan Markle for “throwing herself” at Disney in an attempt to go back to the Hollywood ladder. It was previously reported that the former actress may be returning to the entertainment industry after she and Prince Harry announced that they will be stepping down as senior royals.

“The Disney movie would have been fine if initiated after leaving royal roles but seems inappropriate prematurely. And disrespectful of royal protocol,” Meghan Markle’s half-sister said. “It’s like cheating on a spouse and giving a phone number for a dinner date before being divorced. She kept her agent and manager and might have landed a Disney deal. It seems that the British royal family was a launchpad for high places than Suits couldn’t get her.”

During an interview with Tom Bradby in the documentary titled Harry & Meghan: An Africa Journey, the anchor asked Meghan Markle about the impact of public scrutiny on her. The Duchess of Sussex, then, replied, “thank you for asking, because not many people have asked if I'm OK. But it's a very real thing to be going through behind the scenes.” This didn’t sit well with Samantha Markle as she believed that Prince Harry’s wife’s actions are the reasons why she’s hated by people.

“She received so much negative public scrutiny as a result of actions that were inappropriate,” she continued. “She got too much scrutiny for lavish spending and yet still when discussing hunger in Africa, still made the end of the interview about her difficult royal life. She created the consequences by her actions and disregard. She knew the expectations and the public reliance on her to ‘walk in shoes that fit.’”
