Part of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision of stepping down as senior royals is for them to be “financially independent.” Since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are no longer working royals, they have all the time in the world to look for ways to earn for themselves.

Billionaire business leaders are more than willing to invite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to be guest speakers at next year's World Economic Forum in Davos. The event, which will be attended by some of the world’s most influential people, would be an ideal platform for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to promote their brand.

Royal experts believe that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could easily net a £1 Billion if they strike the right balance between corporate deals and brand ambassador roles. This would be the perfect option for them as they seek to secure their financial independence.

“Harry and Meghan have set a clear path to work with big banks and corporate giants as well as doing altruistic work with charities,” PR guru Mark Borkowski said. “The mix works well with the target audience and the celebrity set. However, it is sure to raise eyebrows in royal circles. It has echoes of other royals criticized for touting themselves to the highest bidder and all becomes rather tawdry.”

Meanwhile, previous reports revealed that there is a possibility that Meghan Markle will return to Hollywood. The Duchess of Sussex was an actress before she met and married Prince Harry in 2018, and an insider claimed that the former actress is “actively looking” for an agent or manager.

“Meghan is actively looking for representation. She has begun outreach,” the source said. “It can be a manager or an agent, but she’s reaching out to people to find someone to represent her for future professional projects.”

Another report shared that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be creating their own TV firm. Rumor has it that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be providing voiceovers and producing documentaries on “worthy causes,” and this is where they will be earning their money.

“The sorts of deals they will do will be more along the lines of the documentary series the Duke is executive producing on mental health for Apple TV,” a source told the MailOnline. “It’s a new model, admittedly, but they are determined to prove to the family that this can work.”
