Prince Charles shows tremendous support to Prince Harry's upcoming documentary about mental health in collaboration with the media tycoon, Oprah Winfrey. It looks like the Prince of Wales will back up his son's new project as it will involve one of his patronages - the Combat Stress.

The Duke of Sussex's yet-to-be-titled docuseries is set to be out in April on Apple TV. However, as early as now, details about the show are now emerging.

The show will mostly focus on mental health and mental wellbeing. Hence, it got Prince Charles' support for featuring its patronage, the Combat Stress.

Combat Stress is a charity that aims to help veterans who struggle with "anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder among other mental health issues." Daily Mail already confirmed its involvement in the filming of Prince Harry's new docuseries.

The organization's spokesperson also revealed that the show would feature visits to U.K.-based hospitals and health centers. As Combat Stress has three treatment centers, Newport in Shropshire, Hollybush in Ayr, and Leatherhead in Surrey, across the country, these three may also be featured.

Prince Charles launched a £10-million appeal for Combat Stress in May last year. Upon its launch, the heir to the throne talked about the importance of fighting the stigma surrounding mental health. He also revealed that the situation about the issues gradually improves throughout the years, per Express.

He highlighted the importance of mental health and wellbeing in his speech. He also praised his sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, for their efforts to combat the stigma.

Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey's collaboration was announced on the Sussexes' Instagram account in April last year. It said that the two would-be partners, co-creators, and executive producers of the upcoming mental health series.

They have been developing the show for several months since then and are now looking forward to sharing an essential project like it on a global platform. It is also believed that Meghan Markle is involved in the show's production.

Kensington Palace, on the other hand, also announced Prince Harry and Oprah Winfrey's collaboration. The sixth in line to the throne has been vocal about his mental struggles. He recently revealed that he needed counseling after his mother, Princess Diana, died in 1997. In his speech at a JP Morgan-sponsored event in Miami, he openly talked about his mental health issues, struggles, and what he's doing about it.
