Tom Cruise's eyes are, allegedly, set on a particular actress these days. That is X-Men: Apocalypse actress Oliva Munn. Rumors have it that Munn caught the attention of Cruise during the Oscars afterparty.
NW published a story this week that claimed the Mission Impossible actor met Munn at the Oscars pre-party and can't take his eyes off her throughout the night. A source of the outlet claimed Cruise pulled his usual stunt of suggesting that they should work together on a project so he could get to know her better.
"She's never quite mixed with upper A-listers like Tom and he capitalized on how pleased she was that he was paying her so much personal attention," the insider said.
It added that Cruise is determined to take Munn as his date on Top Gun: Maverick premiere. The sequel of the iconic movie is set to hit cinemas on June 26.
The insider alleged the award-winning actor would do everything to bring Munn to the red carpet, even if he has to hire and personally pilot the chopper for her. As for The Newsroom actress, Munn is, reportedly, thrilled by the prospect that the A-list actor is interested in her and would also like to chat with Cruise in private.
It is true that both Cruise and Munn attended the CAA pre-Oscars party. Gossip Cop, however, checked in with a source close to the situation, who confirmed that Cruise is not pursuing Munn.
The outlet also pointed out that there is no indication that the two showed interest in each other. That is not surprising because Munn is currently dating Tucker Roberts.
The actress made her romance with the president of esports team Fusion official when they appeared together on the Day of the Dead Celebration in Los Angeles in November last year. The couple sparked dating rumors in December 2018 after getting spotted holding hands while shopping in Beverly Hills.
Prior to dating Tucker, Munn was in a long romantic relationship with Aaron Rodgers. She and the Green Bay Packers quarterback dated from 2014 to 2017.
As for Tom Cruise, he has been linked to several women since his split with Katie Holmes in 2012 after just six years of marriage. After his divorce, Tom was linked to restaurant owner Cynthia Jorge.
He was also rumored dating his Oblivion co-star Olga Kurylenko. Cruise got linked to his fellow Scientologists Elisabeth Moss and Laura Prepon too.
The dating rumors between Cruise and Moss have intensified after The Handmaid's Tale actress confirmed in an interview with Marie Claire that she had a boyfriend for a few years but she refused to name him. Some speculated that she could be referring to the Edge of Tomorrow actor.
