Melania Trump and Donald Trump's official visit to India just recently concluded. After spending almost two days in the Asian country, several controversies now start to rise concerning the tour.

Based on the general reception, the United States President and his First Lady seemingly had a successful trip. Following the warm welcome and greetings that they received in various cities and communities of the country, it is unlikely that they did not enjoy the visit.

However, the final solo engagement of Melania Trump at New Delhi's Sarvodaya Co-Educational Senior Secondary School has been now filled with allegations. As speculated, it was said that the First Lady felt "humiliated."

According to Express UK, the US President's wife was supposed to be "accompanied" by New Delhi's Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, and Deputy Minister, Manish Sisodia. Unfortunately, it was revealed that the two Indian politicians were "dropped" from the group leaving the First Lady to attend and visit the government-run school on her own.

As per the publication, the two government officials were dropped due to the decision that their presence might only "politicize" the visit. This is why it would be much more suitable for them to leave Melania on her own.

Amid the announcement, the US Embassy in the country released a statement saying that they "had no objection" over the politicians' presence. It was also added that they "appreciate" the New Delhi government officials' "recognition" that Melania Trump's visit to the school is not a "political event." Correspondingly, this only shows that the focus of the visit is more on "education" and the students.

India Today, later on, released a similar report containing the statements given by Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia. As per assertions, they would love to "personally" accompany the First Lady on her visit to the school.

It was further asserted that the supposed joint visit would have been a great opportunity to explain the "Happiness curriculum" that they initiated 18 months ago to Melania Trump. But, they reportedly pointed out that the US Embassy had concerns about the matter causing and that they "respect" the decision of the institution to not accompany the First Lady.

The same publication went on to share that some sources revealed that there were US officials who talked to the Chief Minister and his Deputy. It was explained that these officials asked the Indian politicians to "not accompany" Melania during the tour.
