Some people are truly gifted at bargaining to get a better deal on a potential purchase. However, Jeonghan of SEVENTEEN takes it to a completely new level. The vocalist recently enjoyed a nice day walking out in New York City with fellow idols Hoshi, DK, and Dino. Not surprisingly, Yoon Jeonghan once again tried to haggle with the locals on the prices of their wares.

It's no secret that Jeonghan is a thrifty shopper. Fans have noted that the SEVENTEEN lead vocalist consistently tries to get the prices down when he is interested in buying something. For instance, Yoon Jeonghan learned the word "mahal" ("expensive" in Indonesian, Malaysian, and Filipino) while the group was on the TV show Battle Trip in Yogyajakarta, Indonesia. Since then, Jeonghan regularly uses the term in an attempt to get a discount on just about anything he or his fellow members want to buy.

It's been a long time since their appearance on Battle Trip but Jeonghan can't seem to let go of the word he learned in Indonesia. In the latest episode of Inside Seventeen, Yoon Jeonghan joined Hoshi, DK, and Dino as they explored New York City. At first, the idols were simply enjoying a nice stroll in the park as Kwon Soonyoung served as their "guide." However, it didn't take long before the vocalist became active with his "mahal" agenda all over again.

At one point, the SEVENTEEN members decided to buy a sweet snack that they could all share. They approached a food cart where Hoshi ordered a snack. When the food cart seller told them the price, Jeonghan immediately sprang into action, telling Kwon Soonyoung to ask for a discount. However, Hoshi was too embarassed to bargain with the seller and paid for the full amount.

Interestingly, Jeonghan once again repeated his favorite word "mahal", prompting Dino to ask what it means. Yoon Jeonghan pointed out that Lee Chan probably wasn't familiar with the term because he wasn't able to watch the Battle Trip episode that Jeonghan, S.Coups, and Wonwoo were in.

Although he wasn't successful in his first attempt at a discount in New York City, Jeonghan isn't one to give up too easily. When DK became interested in a $20 beanie, Yoon Jeonghan immediately told him to ask for a discount. He suggested Dokyeom should try to take the hat for $10 but the seller refused. That's when Jeonghan haggled, first for $11 then $12 before the seller settled on $13 for the beanie.

Not surprisingly, fans are delighted to see Jeonghan in action with his "mahal" agenda. Carats gushed about Yoon Jeonghan's haggling skills and are looking forward to seeing the SEVENTEEN member continue to get discounts on his purchases.
