The recently released Samsung Galaxy S20 series offers lots of features that the current generation iPhone 11 series does not have. But, there are some features that the iPhone 11 series have missing in the Galaxy S20. The upcoming flagship smartphones from the Seoul-based tech and electronics giant are releasing on Mar. 6, 2020.

The current generation Samsung Galaxy S20 series has models that support 5G connectivity, which all iPhone 11 smartphones are not capable of offering. Additionally, the series provide higher-resolution cameras and an on-screen fingerprint sensor for an extra layer of security. But, apart from these, there are interesting iPhone 11 features that the Galaxy S20 does not have.

Some of these features involve that of the iPhone 11 camera software. There are also several qualities focused on the iOS ecosystem and the advantages it aced over the more fragmented Android ecosystem. Then, there are some of the display features of the Apple flagship iPhones.

The current generation iPhone 11 series boasts of a feature called True Tone. This particular display functionality adapts to the temperature of the iPhone 11's screen to that of the actual environment. It eliminates the blueish tint that is usually on the display of most smartphones and provides a warmer look on the iPhone's display.

Additionally, the iPhone 11 series offers Portrait Lighting and several filters, especially in the portrait mode of its camera. The current generation iPhone 11 series provides six portrait lighting effects. While Samsung Galaxy S20 comes with Live focus, it does not have filters that allow users to change the lighting style. Apart from this, the iPhone 11 series is equipped with a full texting app with end to end encryption.

Samsung Galaxy S20 series now features Google's Rich Communication Services technology (RCS) on its messaging app. The problem is, while Apple offers end to end encryption, the RCS does not. So, in terms of security, RCS has still a long way to go.

The iOS 13, which runs on the iPhone 11 series, is capable of silencing unknown callers or sending them to voicemail. This feature only receives calls from contact numbers found on the user's Mail, Messages, and Contacts. Samsung Galaxy S20 series could flag spam calls, but unlike iPhone 11, it could not send these calls directly to voicemails.

More importantly, Apple could easily deploy its newest operating system to all its devices, especially on the iPhone 11 series. It is one of the advantages of the iOS ecosystem over Android. Since Android is made by Google and rolled out to various brands and devices, lunch timing has variations.
