Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced back in January that they will be stepping down as senior royals to focus more on their family and charities. Although Queen Elizabeth supported their decision, the whole thing shook the Royal Family to the core.

And even though Her Majesty showed grace and professionalism after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s bombshell announcement, many believed that she was very upset by their decision to leave. However, a new report claims that talks over the weekend are said to have cleared the air and Queen Elizabeth even told her grandson that he’s welcome to come back to the Royal Family.

“The last thing Elizabeth wants is for Harry to feel estranged from his family and she made her feelings clear about this in the meeting,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively.

According to the report, this is the first time Queen Elizabeth and Prince Harry have see each other in person in over a month. It can be recalled that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to Canada after their announcement earlier this year.

Prince Harry held a meeting with Queen Elizabeth on Sunday, which lasted for four hours. A report then claimed that Her Majesty ended the talk by saying, "You are much loved and will always be welcomed back."

"The Queen had a lot to talk to Harry about and this was the ideal time for them to both say their piece,” the insider told The Sun. “When Harry and Meghan announced they wanted to quit, it all happened very quickly and it was very stressful for all concerned. Sunday was the first time the Queen has had the chance to talk to Harry on his own and really find out what his plans are. It was a much more relaxed environment and they were both able to speak their mind."

The source revealed that Queen Elizabeth was not too happy with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s withdrawal as the Royal Family would want to spend time with them, especially baby Archie. However, Her Majesty respects their decision and just assured them that they are always welcome to the family.

"It's fair to say she is very upset about him and Meghan leaving and she would love to see more of Archie, as would Prince Charles and the rest of the family,” they shared. “She made it very clear to him that he and Meghan are always able to come back if they change their minds and she will welcome them with open arms. Hopefully, the chat cleared the air and the way forward is looking more positive."
