There is little doubt that almost everything is cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19). In addition to postponing the premiere of several potential blockbusters, production has been halted on every major TV show that is currently being filmed. Unfortunately, that includes the production for Stranger Things Season 4. But could this mean that the return of the Netflix series will be moved to a later premiere date?

According to Gamesradar, Netflix has decided to suspend production on every TV show and movie that is being filmed in the US and Canada. This includes Stranger Things Season 4, which only started filming earlier this year. For now, the two-week suspension of production is expected to begin on Monday, March 16. However, there is a huge possibility that the suspension will continue to the next month.

So what could this mean for Stranger Things Season 4? Some fans are concerned that the upcoming season will not be completed in time for this year. Others are worried that COVID-19 will continue to affect schedule delays until summer. Unfortunately, this could mean that the fourth season of the Netflix series will not be released by the end of 2020.

It is still too early to tell whether Stranger Things Season 4 will be delayed. For now, it is important to remember that the safety of the cast and crew is more important than the show's possible return by December. Hopefully, Netflix will make another official announcement within the next few week.

Stranger Things Season 4 is already set for some major surprises. The first teaser for the upcoming season confirmed that David Harbour's character Jim Hopper is still alive but has been kept prisoner by the Russians. Needless to say, fans are hoping that Hopper will find his way out of captivity and eventually return to Hawkins. On the other hand, others are concerned that the fourth season might be the last one for Hopper.

Although production on Stranger Things Season 4 has been put on hold, there is no stopping David Harbour's other project. After all, Black Widow has already been completed and is already set to premiere in May. Disney and Marvel Studios has not yet announced whether the highly anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe flick will be pushed back due to COVID-19. This means that fans will get to see Harbour in action as Alexei Shoskatov aka Red Guardian by May 1.
