Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returned to the UK to attend the annual Endeavour Fund Awards at Mansion House in London. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are currently living on a private mansion on Vancouver Island, Canada, with their son Archie, and this was their first return after announcing their plans to step back from being senior royals.
As expected, all eyes were on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as they completed one of their last outings as working royals. Body language expert Judi James said that the Duchess of Sussex looked more “showbiz” in her first appearance after Royal exit.
“With her glossy red lipstick, her smoky, more dramatic eye make-up and her simple but figure-hugging designer dress this was a much more showbiz looking version of Meghan, and her dazzling smile completed the look,” she said.
The body language expert then gave her analysis on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at the royal engagement. Judi James shared that the couple looked happy with their decision.
“Harry’s eyes gleamed with delight and his wide, upturned smile that bared his upper teeth and rounded his blushing cheeks suggested happiness and pride as he led his wife by the arm,” she continued. “This appearance as a couple looked all about sending signals of unity and happiness. This suggests the move away from the royal firm was a decision they both endorsed and that they both gained strength from.”
Judi James also pointed out that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s moves and outfits say a lot about their new life. She said that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are looking more like a celebrity couple.
“Their mirrored walks and their toned-in blue outfits emphasized the look of a celebrity power-couple,” the body language expert added. “They were clear and emphatic in their signals of happy togetherness and like-mindedness.”
Since they will no longer be working royals, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have some extra time on their hands to do other things. While they were tied to their hectic royal obligations before, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex now have the liberty to pick the things that they will put their time and effort on.
Previous reports claimed that there is a possibility that Meghan Markle will return to Hollywood. The Duchess of Sussex was an actress before she met and married Prince Harry in 2018 and an insider revealed that she is “actively looking” for an agent or manager.
