Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced back in January that they will be stepping down as senior royals to focus on their family and charities. After that, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved out of Kensington Palace and are currently living on a private mansion on Vancouver Island, Canada, with their son Archie.

Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will officially be stripped off from their titles by the end of the month, they still have to complete one of their last outings as working royals. With that said, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently returned to the UK.

Despite the pouring rain, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were all smiles as they stepped out of their official car at London’s Mansion House. However, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s UK comeback appearance was not received well by some members of the British public.

Although Prince Harry and Meghan Markle looked excited about their return, one of the onlookers loudly booed the couple. Some cheered for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but the loud jeer was hard to ignore.

But it appears that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle didn’t notice the bad reception as they looked to be in good spirits the whole entire time. These kinds of rude remarks are one of the reasons why the couple decided to step down as senior royals, saying that they want to live a “peaceful life.”

Meanwhile, previous reports revealed that even though Queen Elizabeth supported Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision, she was said to be very “upset” and “hurt” by their announcement. But then talks over the weekend reportedly cleared the air and the Queen even told her grandson that he’s welcome to come back to the Royal Family.

Prince Harry held a meeting with Queen Elizabeth on Sunday, which lasted for four hours. According to the report, this is the first time Her Majesty and the Duke of Sussex have see each other in person in over a month.

"The Queen had a lot to talk to Harry about and this was the ideal time for them to both say their piece,” the insider told The Sun. “When Harry and Meghan announced they wanted to quit, it all happened very quickly and it was very stressful for all concerned. Sunday was the first time the Queen has had the chance to talk to Harry on his own and really find out what his plans are. It was a much more relaxed environment and they were both able to speak their mind."
