ARMYs have been dreaming for years to have the opportunity to date BTS. Since there were instances that a celebrity ended up having a romantic relationship with a fan, ARMYs’ fantasy is actually not that far-fetched.
But BTS is currently the biggest boy group on the planet, which means that their schedule is full-packed so they don’t have the time to date. But a previous promotion in Japan resurfaced that showed what it would be like to date RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook.
BTS was given the task to pretend that a mannequin, complete with hair and pink lips, was their date. They were then asked to whisper something to their date, which has binaural earphones to amplify their voices.
The theme was: “you and your date are on the way home, what would you say to them after your date?”
First up was RM. The BTS leader showed his gentle and polite side by whispering, “I had a good time. Thanks for today.” (Watch the clip here).
Next comes Jin. Although the present Jin, who is bold and confident, would probably joke that his date is lucky to have spent time with him, he was pretty grateful at the time. “Thank you so much,” he said. (Watch the clip here).
Suga showed off his sweet side by showing concern to his date. “Thanks for today. I’ll walk you to your apartment. It’s dangerous for a girl to be alone at this time,” he whispered. (Watch the clip here and here).
When it was J-Hope’s turn, he decided to turn things up a notch by affectionally touching his date’s hair. However, when the MC said that he didn’t have to do it as he only needed to deliver his line, it made him flustered. (Watch the clip here).
The only thing that J-Hope managed to say at that moment was “Yeah.” Since he said it with a seductive voice, Suga jokingly called him a “pervert.” It flustered J-Hope even more and ended up thanking his date profusely. (Watch the clip here and here).
As for Jimin, he was the complete opposite of J-Hope. While the rapper tried hard to impress his date, Jimin just patted the mannequin’s head and told her to go home safely. (Watch the clip here).
V was a bit confused with the scenario as he told his date to date him. (Watch the clip here). RM then reminded him that the date has happened already, so V whispered, “I had fun with you.” (Watch the clip here).
Lastly, Jungkook confirmed his “international playboy” status by being straightforward with his date. “I had fun today. I love you,” the golden maknae said. (Watch the clip here).
