The female version of V in the upcoming CD Projekt Red title now sports a new look in celebration of International Women's Day. The developer took to Twitter to unveil "Miss V's" makeover:

"Cyberpunk 2077" allows you to fully customize your character, but of course, you have to start from somewhere. CD Projekt Red has designed a male and female default character, a protagonist named V, and from there, you're allowed to do the rework.
The developer called the female protagonist "Miss V," who nows appears with a more defined undercut in a shade of pink, some piercings, a rugged-looking scar right below her left eye. Of course, the tweet wouldn't be complete without the #InternationalWomensDay hashtag.
CD Projekt Red also announced that the new artwork is to become a part of "Cyberpunk 2077's" reversible box art, allowing players to turn over the image depending on the image they prefer to see. It's reminiscent of what BioWare did on "Mass Effect."
Now, the female V looks like a character of its own compared to the previous default, which simply looked like a female iteration of the male lead. There are still some similarities, sure, but the changes are more distinct now.
While the "Cyberpunk 2077" developer gave no explanation to the changes other than for International Women's Day, it's apparent that this is the new model CD Projekt Red decided to go with. It looks like it will be a part of the set of options for players to choose from, though.
Meanwhile, CD Projekt Red confirmed earlier this year both the game's impending launch on Xbox Series X and its Smart Delivery support. The revelation follows the announcement of Microsoft's next-gen console's details and specs.
Among the various exciting details of the Xbox Series X is the new Smart Delivery feature, a program that offers users a seamless transition from previous Xbox One models to the next-gen console. For example, if you own an Xbox One and happen to have bought a Smart Delivery-supported game, there's no need to buy the same title again for it to work on Xbox Series X. Your own copy will be simply upgraded to run on the newer console.
"Cyberpunk 2077" is scheduled for release on Sept. 17, 2020, on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It's one of the most highly-anticipated games this year. Details of the game's launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will be posted as soon as they are available.
